Back In Chicago

Just Deleted Myspace, Opened a Sound Cloud, and added some highlight tunes I’ve recorded with various Artists over the years, including Black Bear Combo, JCBUS, Lowdown Brass Band, and Ralph “Soul” Jackson to the Sound Page.

Ralph’s new record Alabama Love Man will be released on October 2 via Rabbit Factory Records. Here’s a feature track featuring a nice Drastic Horn section with Anthony Abbanati on Baritone Saxophone, Gerald Bailey on Trumpet, and myself on Trombone.

I’m also back in Chicago full time now after finishing a wonderful tour of In The Heights. Lots of exciting gigs and projects coming up this Fall. Stay tuned..

Hollowing Horns

Back in December I recorded some horn tracks on the upcoming Hollows record with Gerald Bailey aka Charles Mantis.

BrooklynVegan just did an interview with the Hollows and premiered their new song “V is For Vulture”. Nice horn fanfare at the end!

The record will be released April 10th via Trouble In Mind Records.
